It actually does have some protection. Quite recently I got a warning from
it - SUPERAntispyware - that a program wanted to change my home page, and
did I want SUPERAntiSpyware to prevent this, or allow the program to change
my home page? I opted to prevent this, since I had the program only to try
it out temporarily - unless it was accessible (which it is not) and was
good. So, I was glad of the warning from Super then.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] super antispyware auto start

I just unchecked the auto run for super anti-spyware. Since the free version
does not have real time protection is there any good reason to have it
running in the background?
