In Sound Recorder, JAWS does read some controls and buttons - enough to make it very usable with JAWS. you would use Sound Recorder for short recordings. As instructed by JAWS when you open Sound Recorder, press JAWSKey+F8; and ctrl+l if you are using a software synthesizer (so that it will not be recorded). Then you will hear labelled buttons, along with graphics, as you go through the dialogue with the tab key.
