If it's been a long time since you upgraded Winamp, you might now do so - if
only for the improved security that has been implemented in recent versions.
Now I know that access to the winamp library will not be what it was; but
that's an unfortunate side-effect of the treatment. Instead you can browse
to www.shoutcast.com/ and then do much as before.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Winamp Error Message

I have upgraded to Internet Explorer 8. I am using JAWS 9 and Windows XP.
Ever since the upgrade
to IE8, when I close out a Winamp track I get the following message that
says:
---------------------------
DDE Server Window: winamp.exe - Application Error
---------------------------
The instruction at "0x3e185d79" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The
memory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

What does this mean, and how can I fix it?

Thanks,
Donnie
