Hi Elaine,
Unsure how to compound the rule. I have a rule to check words in subject so
how do I add another condition?
What I did was alt+t, r, enter on mail, add check if body of message
contains ...
and then I move it to same folder. Is this how AI do it? I also give rule
a unique name.
Thanks,
Ann

hi Ann
if you want a message rule for the jaws users list, but the words are not
always in the subject line, try other rules such as if the same words are
in the body of the email.
I've done this before and it works.
you can have more than one rules working on one email.
so for example, the rule, for subject lines, if those words are not found
in the subject lines you could specify that the following rule apply next,
say the same words but in the body of the email.
that then will force the second rule to apply if those words are in the
body of the email aposed to the subject line.
if those words are not in either the email or subject lines, that is when
the email will default to your in box.
sometimes message rules can be a pain to set.
the message rules apply in what ever order you have placed them to begin
with.

Elaine

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Message rules in OE with GMail
Hi all,
I sent a new email regarding Brighthouse and it came into my in box. My
message rule in OE is to move to folder if subject contains JawsUsers;
however, this rule was defined when I used BellSouth email account.
Unsure if this would mattter.
The subject line did not contain JawsUsers. Is this because I composed a
new email? Or does this have to do with GMail account?
