Strange. The sound board setting should work as advertised. Contact High Criteria as even if you haven't got a key they'll gladly help you out.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] strange behavior with total recorder V7

I recently upgraded my total recorder program to V7. I have been using this program for many years. However, I am experiencing some strange behavior in the version. In play back recording settings options, when I select sounding board and record something the output playback of the recording should be coming from the microphone but the output is coming from the playback source such as a baseball game I am listening to. This behavior should be a result of selecting the software settings option. When I select the software option and start recording I get an error message that says no playback sound detected even though the output is a baseball game I am listening to.
