Hi Elaine,
Thank you for your great suggestion.
Yeah, I have junk folder, but sometimes advertise still comes to my in box.
I also check my junk folder regularly as sometimes legitimate email goes
there too.
Have a nice weekend,

Estelita

hi Estelita

you can add the address to the junk folder if you wish.

I like this feature in windows mail.

if you press your aps key on the email and arrow up twice you should find
the junk folder menu.

or pres the letter J to get to the junk folder after pressing the aps key.

you are now presented with various options relating to adding, blocking
allowing email addresses.

you can set this to block a certain email address, or the whole domain.

I'd be careful when blocking the domain as you might block the wrong
emails.

if you don't want to use the junk feature, you can set a message rule to
automatically delete any emails from that address.

personally I'd just use the junk folder. it's easier. *smiles*

you can use the above folder to unblock email addresses too.

the only thing I don't like about that is, if you have a lot of emails in
this folder, the junk mail folder that is, you can't highlight all and
unblock the address. you have to do each one separately.

hope this helps.

Elaine

Hi,
Can someone please provide me with the step by step instruction on how to
block an email address?
I have this annoying email casino advert and don't know how to get rid of
it.
I'm using windows mail in windows vista home premium.
Thank you for any help.
Regards,

Estelita
