Hi John, I kind of figured that is the reason this attachment would open when I saved it in My Documents, but not open in OE. Thank you for confirming that uncommon correct thought that will come to me once in awhile! LOL Thanks again, take care. Hi Mike, This file is a Microsoft Powerpoint file. If you don't have Office installed it won't open. If you have office installed, first save the attachment somewhere and try to open it from within Powerpoint. When I try to open the attachment in OE I get that message telling me that I need to create an association in folder options in the control panel before it can be opened. But, if I save the attachment in My Documents and open it there it opens just fine with the Power Point program. Why does the attachment open in My Documents, but not in OE even though I do have the association set up in folder options? I am running XP/SP3, Office 2002 Home, IE 7, OE 6, & Jaws 8, 9, & 10 latest. All help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much, take care.
