Hello Victor,

If you hear that skype welcome message, skype still comes up although it
doesn't open a window as such, but if it perhaps still shows up in your
system tray, it is indeed activated.

In skype itself, there is a checkbox where you can deactivate the
welcome message. Perhaps you could try that?

Regards,

Riana

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Skype Scripts Always Coming Up

Hi Folks,

Using Jaws 10 and XP Pro, when my computer boots up, Jaws will say,
welcome to Skype, and then proceed to give the opening message when
opening Skype.

I have set it to not open when the computer boots up, but Jaws still
states the opening message as written in the scripts.

I have confirmed that Skype is not running, and yet the message pops up.

Anyone know why this is, and how I can stop it?

Thanks.

Victor
