Press ALT-V for the View menu then D for details or L for list view.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] getting jaws to read in a list view
I have reinstalled my xp operating system and have a copy of how to get
jaws to work with xp the problem I am having when I am in my documents or
the control panel the list reads across and I want it to read from top to
bottom any help would be appreciated.
