Of course, what's the point checking if we are connected?
Suppose, if just a beep to alert that battery is low, is fair enough!

well, the keystroke shift+insert/capslockb only works if your not connected
to the AC power.

you will get the prompt;
battery status not found when your connected to the AC power.
however, if your totally running on just the battery, it should work.

Yeah, it should be Insert shift B, or Shift CapsLock B, but when I do this
command, JAWS says, "battery status not found".
There must be a setting in order the JAWS to announce the battery status
when this command is performed.
Perhaps somebody out there is knowledgeable on this matter.
