Hello Russ,

I think jamal Masrui has written a program to do that, called something
like pdf converter, but I don't have a website for download at hand.

It's said to work with jaws and the program is free though.

If you have Kurzweil or Openbook, you can also open the file with one of
those programs and save it as a word document.

In Kurzweil 1000 versions 10 and 11, you can just select the file and
open it with kurzweil via the applications menu, but I cannot recall the
procedure with openbook, although it is possible.

Regards,

Riana

Try Adobe 9.1. Otherwise, you will need a piece of software such as pdf
converter, a product sold by Nuance. I am sure there are other
suggestions
that others will have.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Converting a PDF file into Word

Hi Everyone,

I recently downloaded an owner's manual. It only came in PDF format.
I went to save as and found the following
Save a copy and save as text (not available.)

I would like to convert this into Word so that I can copy and paste into
several documents according to selected information.

I would appreciate any ideas you might have.

Russ
