Hi, Here is an easy test for that questionable escape key. You can use JawsKeyboardHelp by pressing the keystroke Jawskey plus numrow1 and then press the escape key to find out its function. Jaws will tell you what that key, and most other keystrokes is supposed to do. and if you hear nothing the keyboard is probably damaged. You toggle this mode off by pressing JawsKey plus Numrow1 again. This will work even with your key echo set to none.
