aAfter pressing windows x we do not have a mute option any further ideas?

Press Windows x to open Mobility Centre and press the letter m to
check/uncheck the mute feature. Found this out yesterday and it also works
with Windows 7. Good luck!

We have a laptop here running vista when we switched on this morning the
volume has been muted any ideas how wwe can unchick this? Is there a
keystroke for unmuting?
