Some keystrokes you could try, which might help.
ctrl+JAWSKey+NumpadMinus - the JAWS Cursor will not follow the PC
Cursor; JAWSKey+r, puts various levels of restriction on the JAWS cursor
or the invisible cursor.

For some reason routing jaws to pc does not always work. When I use

combination it is mute and nothing happens. Even unloading and
re-launching
jaws does not correct the problem. It takes a computer reset to get
