Hi,
I didn't know it was called the numb lock key. In my laptp it is the caps lock key when I have my keyboard set to laptop. Not trying to confuse anybody. Probably the same thing...

Mike,

The biggest thing you need to know is that the Num lock key acts as your
JAWS key.  Also, the Jaws/numlock+8 is your left mouse, and 9 is right
mouse.

I'm sure others will provide additional help.

It's probably right in front of my nose but I was wondering where to find
information on the differences when using the laptop keyboard instead of
desktop keyboard for jaws?  Is this in the help files?
