If this is an attachment you are trying to read then you will need to
press escape. By default Word opens attachments in a reading layout mode.

At work I'm using JAWS Version 9, and they've started using Word2007.
Whenever I open a .docx file JAWS won't read it at all.
Is there something I'm supposed to do to get JAWS to read this format?
