Dear List A Jaws User using a 64 bit Vista machine running Jaws 10 made a query to me today. She has an annoying problem whereby her num lock key is always set to on when her computer boots up. She has been told that there is a Jaws setting which can resolve this, but I am not aware of any such solution. That is unless there is a way of using the keyboard manager that I am not aware of.
As far as I am aware to change the status of the num lock key at start up you have to either edit the registry or bios. I am particularly ignorant of Vista so there may be a setting there also that I am not aware of. Any help greatly appreciated.
