With JAWS 10 and auto forms mode, I notice that sometimes, when I am
entering a password, for example, that the first character or two are
sometimes chopped off, even though I know that I typed them. I think
that JAWS is the culprate, because it doesn't happen with another screen
reader. Perhaps the culprate might be auto forms mode. I should check
and see if it happens with auto forms mode disabled.

It's not a large deal for me but just something I noticed is all. Each
version often contains a growing pains period where things get ironed
out I
imagine. For me at least I favor the old method of turning on forms mode

when I need it rather than JAWS doing it for me. It's a personal choice
kind
of thing. I am glad that the new feature in tandem will play the sounds
when
auto forms mode is activated because some times I forget that other
folks
like to use it and it stumbles me for a minute until I recall that fact.

Believe me I have used tandem quite a lot for somebody who isn't
officially
employed to do it but instead just being a good Samaritan.

Sometimes for me anyway, when forms mode is in automatic, check boxes
that
weren't supposed to be checked end up being checked. I try to find the
one
to check, then I check it and then immediately go to the virtual cursor
so
that hopefully, it doesn't become unchecked. It's a problem for me as
well.
