Thanks for these instructions! One more helpful tip.

Once I was on the "locales and languages" page using JAWS 11 beta, I had trouble getting around and finding the combo box with Internet Explorer 7. I found that if I pressed JAWSKey (Insert on the desktop layout) + Z once, the page was taken out of "Application Mode" and was read by JAWS using the normal virtual buffer. The page read perfectly and recognized the combo box as expected!

Sorry about not telling you that. Here's how to download MSE. First, go to http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials then click on the languages and locales link, at which point select your country in the combo box, then choose your operating system. From there, it's pretty self-explanitory.

Tell me, what is the button or link I have to hit to click on the download?

I wonder does anybody know if this works with any existing anti malware or anti virus commercial applications like AVG installed? It is not clear on
the Microsoft page.
Commercial Anti- virus programs normally do not like being installed at the
same time as another anti-virus program.

Yes, it is accessible, and free. It also allows you to schedule automatic
scans.

Hi listers. MS has just released its new free anti-malware program,
Microsoft Security Essentials, for public download. Has anyone tried it
out yet during the beta testing cycle? Is it really JAWS-friendly and
easy to use? Based on the overwhelmingly positive preliminary reviews, it

looks like MS has hit a home run. If MSE is truly JAWS accessible, it
sounds like a great alternative to the free versions of AVG and Avast. If
you're interested in learning more about MSE, check it out:
