I know a lot can be done with JAWS (i.e. reassign drive letters, etc.) by using administrative tools & disk management. I believe Partition Magic will allow one to alter partitions "on the fly" which I don't believe can be done just in windows.
On another note, say one had a brand new hard drive and wanted to setup partitions from scratch. Can this be accomplished with JAWS through the disc management ? if so, how would this be done? Can the process be completed in Windows or does this have to be done outside in DOS? Basically could I use a utility without sighted help? I have a 500 gb drive at present partition in 250gb segments C and D. I want to resize the C partition to 50 gb and the D to 450 gb. Any information would be great.
