I have been following this thread with a great deal of
interest and I still haven't seen a compelling reason to
upgrade to either Vista or Windows 7 from XP-Pro.

How much slower depends to a great part on the machine you
plan to run windows 7 on. If you have acomputer that can
barely handle xp, of course win 7 is not going to be faster.
On the other hand win 7 will be much more of a power saver
on laptops than vista ever was.

Read a well-documented article the other day which states
that in bench mark
tests, Windows 7 was much faster than VISTA but still slower
than XP. The article also stated that you can expect a 30%
more power
drain- especially
of interest to laptop users.

Hi Larry,

No a JFW Pro Key is not required for Premium. I would
recommend JAWS 11 for use with Windows 7. It seems that
most things work well with JAWS 10 also.
