Hi Alan, Thank you for your response. I am glad you weren't having any problems with this particular keystroke and I will be reinstalling Jaws 11.0.xxxx pretty soon. The reinstallation will hopefully fix any problem that I was having also. Take care. Mike

I'm running XP Pro along with JAWS 11. What you describe below works ok on this machine and has with JAWS 10 as well. I never use the ctrl alt keys and have always just used the page up or down key while in the read all command. This speeds up or slows down Jaws. All I do is hit the ctrl key while JAWS is reading at the new rate and it silences JAWS. When I hit the insert escape key Jaws then returns to its pre set rate Al -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]]on Behalf Of Mike & Barbara Sent: Thursday, October 22, 2009 7:58 PM To: Jaws List Subject: [JAWS-Users] Keystroke to go back to default voice rate Hi All, Would someone please share the keystroke that will take you back to your default voice rate if you have increased or decreased it using control, alt, + page up or page down, if there is one? I am running XP/SP3 Home & Jaws 10 latest. All help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much. Take care.
