I have the same ram as you, and same settings except for having jaws to read
character.

I am running jaws 11 with windows 7. I have jaws to read by character as I
type. It lags behind what I type. I thought I didn't have to change
display
settings. Is there any way to fix this? My 80 words a minute is down to
20.
