Hi Joanne, 1. Open Jaws context menu and press the letter"O" for options. 2. Press the letter " V " for voices and press the letter " G " for global. 3. Tab down to " Upper Case Pitch Change Percent: " and whatever number that is shown backspace it out. 4. Now, type in a number. for example; I use " 28 ", and finally tab to okay and press enter or space bar. Hope this takes care of the problem. Take care. Mike

But in Jaws 10 I can't get the pitch to change when making sure a letter is capitalized. Jaws 8 will change pitch but 10 will not. Is there something I need to do to get Jaws 10 to let me know when a letter is capitalized? I'm mainly thinking of a situation where someone has given me a password and the password is case sensitive. When I read with right arrow to check each character, all sound the same.
