Hi Joanne,

1. Open Jaws context menu and press the letter"O" for options.
2. Press the letter " V " for voices and press the letter " G " for global.
3. Tab down to " Upper Case Pitch Change Percent: " and whatever number that
is shown backspace it out.
4. Now, type in a number. for example; I use " 28 ", and finally tab to
okay and press enter or space bar.
Hope this takes care of the problem. Take care.
Mike

Subject: [JAWS-Users] not able to get capital letters to change pitch

I have Jaws 8 and Jaws 10, and I have checked text processing in both
versions and everything seems the same. But in Jaws 10 I can't get the
pitch to change when making sure a letter is capitalized. Jaws 8 will
change pitch but 10 will not. Is there something I need to do to get Jaws
10 to let me know when a letter is capitalized? I'm mainly thinking of a
situation where someone has given me a password and the password is case
sensitive. When I read with right arrow to check each character, all sound
the same.

  Thanks for any help.
