if you use the laptop layout, just press it twice fast and it will turne on
or off. That way you will know what is the current state.

Insert plus the number 8 key on the number row of keys directly below the
row of function keys. That brings you into an application's keyboard
manager. then, like the JAWS Dictionary File, if you want to open the
default JKM, use ctrl+shift+d.
