Hi, When I open a .ppt file on my Netbook, JAWS will read a whole list of Slides when I arrow down like Slide 1 blah blah, Slide 2 blah blah... To be able to read the contents in the file, I need to press Function key 5 to launch the file as a Slide show.
Question: To move from 1 slide to another, one presses the Spacebar or the Control pagedown right? When I press control pagedown, JAWS will always say the following, "The entry effect is none, the slide advance is on a mouse click." After that, I can read the next slide. I can move back the slide by pressing Control Pageup. Moving the Spacebar also brings me to the next part of the slide or a new slide. How do I go to previous slides then? However, I realised that both keystrokes will advance to the next slide quite differently. If both keystrokes are supposedly the same, why do I get different chunks of information, one reading more than the other, when I pressed the different keystrokes? I hope I have not confused anyone. Oh, I am using JAWS 9 on my XP Home Netbook if that's important. Thank you for any help.
