Hi Kimsan,

I don't know of a keystroke that will read from the top to the bottom of the display. It wouldn't be too difficult a script to write and apply a keystroke to if you need to, but you can already accomplish what you are wanting to do using the JAWS cursor. Route JAWS cursor to PC cursor, and if you want to start right at the top left corner of the screen then use CTRL+home key. Use JAWS key with R until the JAWS cursor is unrestricted. use the SayAll command and the current display will be read to you from the top left to the bottom right corners. If you don't put the JAWS cursor in unrestricted mode then reading will stop at the bottom of the current application window. For example, if you are in Microsoft Word 2007 the reading will stop after reading the status bar for the Word window. In unrestricted mode reading should continue to the bottom of the screen and the last thing read should be the clock.

Take care.

Is there a keystroke to read from the top of the display to the bottom of the display? Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first. - Mark Twain
