Hello there; give these steps a try; 1, desktop, press f5key to unselect everything. 2, press applications key, and arrow to, new sub-menu,now, enter or, right arrow to open, or, just press, the applications key, then the letter W. the first item is, folder. you just enter on that, then create your folder, and press enter. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Albert Cutolo" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, November 05, 2009 1:03 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Question on creating a folder and putting that folderon the desktop for later reference. Good afternoon everyone. A few minutes ago, I tried to create a folder on the desktop by using the control plus space bar to unselect everything that is on it, and when I hit the alt f key to go too the option where it says new folder, it just says my documents. I'm trying to make a folder called, Al's address files for later reference should I need too, so that's why I'm asking here. It would seem that the method I tried above, won't allow me to do that, unless I create the folder from with in the my documents folder. Am I correct in that assumption? or am I doing it all wrong.
