Well that seems not to be the problem.  Somehow, java script got damaged
some way, and I can't repair it.  So have to do a clean install.  Will wait
though, because I am getting a new computer on Monday, and my wife has a lap
top I can use when I need to use the internet, so as long as outlook is
working I'm just fine.
