Are there any third party security packages to prevent things like
identity fraud installed on your system?

My bank asked that I install such a package and immediately Jaws was unable
to read anything in an internet browser apart from the title of the page.
It was only when I un-installed this package that jaws was able to read the
web pages again.
I would have a look at what is installed and also try out Firefox to see
if the problem is replicated there.

David Griffith

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Problem with Internet Explorer eight and JAWS 11

Hello all,
I just purchased an Acer netbook from Wal-Mart this evening and am having
problems with IE eight. For some reason Jaws is not seeing anything on the
page. My dad, who is sighted, can see the links just fine but Jaws is not
reading them. The netbook has Windows seven starter edition as its OS. Any
help with this problem will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Greg W.
