Hi Kliph. If the cd-rom has an autostart feature,and will begin to install a program as soon the cd is inserted, you can hold the left shift button down in at least 20 seconds, to cansel this autostart.
Afterwards go to Windows Explorer, and highlight your cd-rom drive, and press the application button, and selecgt "open" and press enter. Now you will be able to explore the cd-rom, and see it's content. If the cd is an music cd, it should start to play automatically, if the computer's settings are factory default. Hope this is useful.
