Try reading them with JAWSKey+UpArrow, the JAWS SayLine Keystroke.

In the jaws configuration manager check boxes jaws no longer says
checked or unchecked. So far I have not found why this has happened
or how to correct it. I would appreciate any suggestions. I am using
windows XP and latest jaws upgrade.
