[JAWS-Users] problem with notepad and jaws

Hello everyone,
I am using Jaws 11, and all of a sudden am having problems with notepad.  When 
I type a text document, it will let me read about 14 or 15 lines with jaws, and 
then the next line says, start.  
If I unload jaws, and use system access, it lets me read the entire document.  
Any suggestions?
