How do I do a system restore?
Please be specific since I am a novice.

Thank you!

You could do a System Restore to a recent time before you made changes in msconfig. then, there is a setting in QuickTime Options which will stop it from starting up automatically. That is a better way to go than using msconfig, where programs will assert themselves again if they are in themselves set to start up.

Hi All;
  I have 10.00 and XP home.
I was trying to turn off a quick time in msconfig for start ups.
Something I did didn't go right and now I'm not sure how to get back to where I was. Is there a way to return to my original settings of what is turned on or off in msconfig before I messed around? I go to window R click on msconfig and look for the startups. and there a a bunch of abbreviations I'm not sure what they stand for and don't want to un check the wrong item.

Thank you.

Rich
