The JAWSKey+1 Keyboard help facility is there for all sorts, and the
explanations offered there for what the various keystrokes do are usually right on, often better than those we could come up with. It is by trial and error, believe it or not, that we learn these things. We don't always know off the cuff, either. Your question was a good one.

It said selects the table or current element.
I will use the jaws key 1 from now on.

In your browser, Press JAWSKey+1 (that's number 1) then press F8.
That
will give the answer to your question.  Like a lot of other keys, it's
context-dependent.
