Hi Al,
I am not a proponent of upgrading anything unless it is absolutely
necessary.
Having said that, if you are not experiencing any problems with the version
you are using, then I would stick with it.
It may be that the newer version is necessary for pdf documents created with
a later version
of the software, or that there may be some security changes, which really
shouldn't affect simply reading a document,
especially if you are not viewing it on-line.
I do have version 9.2 on my test machine, but not on my personal machine
since I don't have a frequent need to read pdf files.
It shouldn't hurt to download and use the latest version, but that would
just be a personal preference. smile
HTH,
Rick Justice

Rick,

What are the major advantages of upgrading to Adobe 9x
version versus sticking with 8x for blind users? In other
words, is it worth the upgrade?

Al

Hi Albert,
Registration is optional, the application should work just
fine without it.

Good morning Marilyn Rick and Kimsan:
I did accept the lisence agreement after installing the
program. However,
I'm getting some conflicting answers as to whether or not I
should register
the program. So, what's a fellow to do? Will I still be
able to use this
program even thoughI haven't registered it as yet? Thank's
for any and all
help, and suggestions from all of you on these questions.
