I am also happy with AVG; the 9.1 free edition. One minor problem, it
takes
some time to get OE started, having to open it several times. Any
similar
problems?? Don

Dear Sherri,
I have been using AVG now for about 3 years, and I have had absolutely no
problems with it!
I find it is very JAWS friendly, and updates it's definitions several
times
a day!
I surely would not recommend that Avast program, as I have heard so
many
people having serious problems uninstalling it!
I have used in the past Norton, McFee, and a couple of others, and in my
mind AVG beats them all hands down!
I purchased a AVG program at Office Max, for $39, and after installing
it,
was pleasantly surprised that the license and update of the definitions
is
good for two (2) years!
A much better deal than one could get on their web site!
With Best Regards,
Alan

Heard from another list that AVG was the cause of jaws crashing. When
being ran as a service.
Now the AVG has ben enabled and jaws is still running, but for how long
is the guess.
Its updates for the past 6 months has ben causing problems for a lot of
computers I tech from work.

it seems that AVG is the best tool for deleting this type of virus. In
the past I heard discussions on this list regarding AVG and
accessibility
issues. Lately I have not heard about any concerns with the free or
paid
version of AVG. Does the latest version of AVG work well with Jaws V11?
Thanks.
