I use ault control J, for JAWS and ault control K for kerdswell! it works
and just do the same steps as said sue

Go to the jaws Icon on your desktop. Go into the properties using
alt-enter.
Tab twice to the short cut field and type in your shortcut, for example,
CTRL alt 8. Tab to apply and then tab to ok and you are good to go sir.
