Hi, Another program that will unzip these files is sevenzip. The windows version (which is completely accessible) will handle .rar, .zip. .tar.gz and a bunch of other files like that. The website is www.7-zip.org. Again, this program is absolutely free. The source code is also available. Hope this helps!
