I noticed also that it happens when I read a document. JAWS does not read or
if I am using skipe. I need to close jaws and restart it to make it work.
JAWS 11 has problems.

I'm using Jaws 10 with XP, and actually this particular problem also
occurred when using 11. 10 seems to work overall better for me, but one
thing I've noticed is, when I am in config manager and want to look at the
list of verbosity items to check or uncheck, Jaws only reads item number
one. If I arrow down to the next item and then shift-tab and tab back
it'll tell me what item I've selected. But it should just read down the
list and it doesn't. I don't yet know if this is the only place it won't
read a complete list on; as I explore my newly-built computer I'm so far
finding most list views everywhere else reading okay. I have not had to
change much in config, so can't tell you if there are other places there
where a list won't read, but definitely the verbosity list will only read
first item.
