David, I'm not surprised at all. jaws For Windows outsells any other screen
reader at the rate of 9 to 1. Given that alone, if someone learns that
there is a place where their unusual or difficult Jaws questions can be
answered, why not join it?

As of right now and I am sure it will still bounce back and forth further
but at the moment the membership count is exactly 500. Personally I am
impressed and a little surprised.
