Hi All, I was wondering if anyone has gotten the instructions below to work to uninstall Avast? I'm getting a checkbox for disable self defense module instead of a enable one to uncheck. I check the disable one and hit enter on okay the utility bongs at me and says the self defense module must be disable or to do it in safe mode.
The free Avast 4.8 is on the machine now and I want to uninstall it and install Microsoft Security Essentials. I'm running JAWS 9 and 10 and have a SMA for 11 on an XP Home with SP3 machine.
