Hi Jeronimo;

Your question is not a stupid question. There is only 1 stupid question,
that is the 1 that is not asked! If there is 1 person with a question about
something in particular, there are probably hundreds of others wanting to
know the same thing!
Below is an article that explains the functions of all 4 cursors.
> About JAWS Cursors
> Navigating through Windows with JAWS is accomplished with cursors. These
> cursors determine the focus of JAWS speech and are often directly linked
> with Windows cursors.

> The virtual PC Cursor mimics the functions of the PC Cursor, but is

Invisible Cursor

The JAWS cursor is basically the mouse cursor that is visible on screen.
The invisible cursor can be moved around just like the JAWS cursor to view
information. It works like the mouse cursor but can not be seen on screen
or effect objects. Therefore you can not use the NumPad / (left mouse
click) or NumPad * (right mouse click) on an object. It is useful to read
information without disturbing the mouse cursor. It is also useful to
determine colors or whatever might change when the mouse is over an object.
It will not cause ToolTips to pop up.

Hope this has helped. Take care.
Mike

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Jaws cursor

Hello,
I know this may sound stupid but I realize that I don't really know how to
work with the jaws cursor efficiently.
I know how to switch back and forth and how to move the jaws cursor to and
from the pc cursor.
I know that Jaws-key+r does somehow switch the area in which the Jaws cursor
is able to move.
But actually I don't quite realize the differences betwenn the areas.
Any hints are greatly apreciated since I need to navigate a program that is
not accessible by using the pc cursor allone.
Thanks
Jeronimo
