Hi
It would be nice if Amazon or a third party would be kind enough to
build a software package that would play their Kindle books in a blind
friendly fashion.
God bless,

RUss, it is my understanding that Amazon's e books must be played on their
Kindle e book reader. This reader is, thus far, not accessible to blind
readers. Amazon is supposedly working on this but nothing has come of it
so
far. Several universities, including Arizona State, have rejected using
the
Kindel textbooks because of this problem. They had intended to have all
ASU
textbooks on Amazon's reader so Amazon has lost a big slae. I am not
aware
of any other reader that reads Amazon's e books and don't think Jaws doe
as
someone mentioned recently. marilyn
