I think Google is doing something funky with the main page! The USA site
does the same thing. I have been pressing F5, then Insert + Escape. This
only works part of the time. I will try your tip. The edit box on the
results page works fine. Perhaps I should make my home page a Google
results page forr something useful. That way I will not have issues typing
in the search box.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Forms mode in google.co.uk
Hi
Sometimes when I open up google.co.uk - which is my homepage and JAWS 11
goes into forms mode in the search edit box, the text I type doesn't get
entered into the edit box. If I exit the edit box and return I get the
same
behaviour; no text. As I type, if I attempt to backspace I just get blank
repeated over and over. I have to reload the page to be able to enter
text.
So, not exactly the end of the world I know, but I find I have to check to
see if I am entering text every time I use google which is a little
irritating.
Any ideas; oh, I have repaired my installation of JAWS 11 to no effect.
Cheers
Karl
