I run into this problem every day after I have browsed through my list of RSS feeds using the feed reader in IE 8. The progress bar slowly reaches about 38% and then I get the dreaded "Internet Explorer cannot display the web page" error. There is apparently no fix for this problem that I am aware of other than rebooting , which always restores page loading to normal. Sometimes, hitting Enter on the problem link again and then repeatedly pressing Alt-right arrow and Alt-left arrow gets the page to load, but not always.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Internet Explorer not Exploring

Hi Everyone,
I think someone had this problem recently also but not sure what the fix was. When trying to use IE it goes to about 30% and then I get a page can not be displayed.
a.. You are not connected to the Internet.
a.. The website is encountering problems.
a.. There might be a typing error in the address. But I am still getting e mail and my Anti Virus is still able to update. I think it maybe have been a setting that needed to be changed but can not remember. I am using Jaws 10 and XP home. Thanks for any assistance. Bob
