Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] MSE question

I was trying to figure something out and I didn't know if MSE was causing a
conflict with what I was trying to figure out. I had an idea that it
wouldn't conflict but it wouldn't hurt to try it out for 10 seconds to see
or not.
All in all, I have my issue solved!

For future reference you can always bring up the system tray, then enter on "your computer is protected", or similar icon, then arrow down the combo box to exit and hit enter again. You will probably get a confirmation dialog box, just hit OK or Yes. MSE is now turned off, and can be turned back on by calling it up from your desktop.

I hope this helps,

I guess the bigger question would be why someone would want
to turn it off? I have not found that it conflicts with any
particular function but would be interested in hearing if
there were some.

THat's what I was afraid you would say. There doesn't seem
to be an exit as
such but maybe someone else can help. marilyn
