I got it working fine.
It tells me who is on and off line, and how long I talk. That is so cool.
I know David you are rolling your eyes at me for more noise on my computer.

Patty! It may be that skype talking doesn't recognize version 3.8.-----

I looked on the skype window, and all there was is the contact list and
edit. I went through all the menus, and I couldn't find anything like
that.
