yes, you can have jaws read your
card number, or, account number,
I'm assuming your reading these numbers in notepad?
wordpad? MSWord?
HJPad?
if so, just follow the instructions I sent in earlier.
There are 2 ways to open the configuration manager.
1. First way; Press Insert+ 6 on the #row.
2. Second way; Press Insert+F2, arrow down to configuration manager and
press enter.
You now have the configuration manager opened.
note, you may want jaws to read digits in only word, so, you can do the
following;
1, open the program in which your going to be reading these numbers,
example, account number, or, card number.;
2, press insert+#row6=Microsoft JCF jaws configuration manager.
3. Now, press, Alt+S= open set options menu.
4. When the set options menu opens you press the letter "t"= text processing
option
5. Tab and here you can make your choice of #processing,
you use the arrow keys to select your choice.
6. Now that you have the #processing choice selected,tab to
okay
and press the spacebar or, the enter-key to close.
7. Press Alt + F4 to close and Jaws will ask you if you want to save your
changes. Choose yes and press enter.

What I want to be able to do, and I don't know if it's possible, is to
read a list of numbers as single digits. For instance, if you have an
account number or card number that is long, it's hard to hear it spoken in
millions, thousands, etc. So I changed it in text processing to speak one
number at a time. Works great with a group of long numbers, but now it
says 1 1 for 11, 1 5 for 15, etc. Is there any way to make it so, if you
go over a certain amount of numbers, it will go to speak them one at a tim
e, but not necessarily the lower numbers? If not I guess I'll have to
have it speak individual numbers in a list, but hoping there might be some
type of workaround. Thanks.
