I am running Windows XP Pro and Office 2007. I have an issue with outlook, in that it crashes periodically, and when it does, it takes speech with it. This behavior is screen reader independent. The computer itself has not crashed, just Outlook and speech. Now, if you can get speech back, you can interact with the Outlook error reporting dialogue, and close and restart Outlook. The normal command, i. e. INSERT-F4 does not work in this situation. Now, Window Eyes has a "Kill" script that allows you to use a hotkey that will unload Window Eyes from memory, and then you can use your normal hotkey, usually CONTROL-ALT-W, to start WE again. Does JAWS have a similar key sequence that will unload it from memory when INSERT-F4 does not work?
